H.E. Demeke Mekonnen, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia and H.E. Lejeune Mbella Mbella, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Cameroon, met today (February 02) on the margins of the 40th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the AU to discuss bilateral issues.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister thanked the government of Cameroon for standing by Ethiopia during the recent UN human rights special session on Ethiopia in Geneva.
Mr. Lejueune Mbella Mbella, on his part expressed his country’s interest to strengthen bilateral relationships with Ethiopia with extended engagements in agriculture and joint political consultations.
